Northtown Center Store Manager

The Northtown Center Arena Store Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the day to day operations of the store. The Northtown Center Store Manager will meet sales targets, maintain the store appearance and cleanliness, oversee the retail sales associates and cashiers as well as help to promote a positive store environment that sets the bar for the retail service industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales:

· Communicate with the General Manager and other Store Managers regarding sales, promotions, new inventory, new product launches and adhere to a calendar of events for the store (advertising, flyers, hotsheets)

· Build new relationships and business opportunities within the community

· Develop and cultivate strong buying relationships with customers, which includes determining customer needs and recommending products

· Deliver superior customer service that ensures ongoing sales and high levels of customer satisfaction

· Ensure sales staff has a full understanding of products and Front Row fit protocol

Operations:

· Train staff on the POS system

· Lead staff in receiving and merchandising product, facilitate incoming orders and quickly put them on the sales floor

· Manage inventory minimum/maximum within Northtown Center location

· Communicate with team sales staff and order desk when coordinating team/league sales

· Coordinate staff to ensure sales floor is clean and organized

· Sharpen and repair skates as required

· Available to work a variety of hours, which may include mornings, evenings and weekends

· Other duties as assigned

Staffing:

· Work with GM to ensure appropriate staff coverage for the Northtown Center location

· Identify and recommend staffing needs for the Northtown Center location as required

Skills & Qualifications:

· Prior Managerial experience an asset

· Previous sales experience an asset

· Familiar with a POS system an asset

· Strong communication skills

· Proven track record of achieving sales quotas

· Ability to stand for most of your shift

· Enthusiastic, friendly and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service

· Maintain a professional attitude with customers and fellow employees
